Google LG Nexus 4 Review

Google’s Nexus 4 smartphone was sold out within hours of its release on November 13, 2012, according to reports. Google has confirmed that its LG-made device had sold out in the UK on its online store – ‘Playstore’.

Here is a review of the Google LG Nexus 4

The Nexus line of devices was originally just a testing ground for Android developers. However, a fully fledged market for the devices has been established. The Nexus 4 is an improvement over its predecessors and is a good buy at a reasonable price.

The Nexus 4 is priced at USD 299, which makes it very affordable for the quality of the unit itself. The device has a 4.7-inch display with elegant looks, a Snapdragon S4 Pro processor which is quad-core running at 1.5 GHz, as well as 720p HD display.

The smartphone bears similarities to LG’s Optimus G and has tapered edges, which allow for a more comfortable grip. The phone is fitted with an IPS PLUS display with Gorilla Glass 2. There is a 1.3 MP front facing camera and a 5 MP rear one.

A secondary mic and headphone jack are placed on top of the device, with volume buttons on the left. On the right, the power button sits comfortably close to the index finger’s position, while the bottom of the phone contains the micro-USB/Slimport socket. The Android 4.2 Jelly Bean platform will give you plenty of new features as well.

The downside for the device is that it doesn’t support LTE. This will inconvenience some customers, along with the average battery life. However, with a better camera, screen and processing power as compared to its competitors, this device is definitely worth a buy.
