Apple to release new iMacs by November 30, 2012

US tech giant Apple has confirmed that it will be releasing its new line of iMacs from November 30, 2012. Apple re-sellers, Apple.com and Apple stores will be setting the 21.5-inch version of the iMac on Friday. The 27-inch version of the iMac will be available for pre-order on Friday as well, however it will not be available for shipping until next month.

Some corners were suggesting that there could be a delay with the release of the iMacs until 2013, while others were of the opinion that they could be available by the end of 2012. The Apple.com site says that the device is ‘Coming soon’, according to its iMac section.

The 27-inch iMacs will cost a user approximately USD 1,799 and the 21.5 version costs USD 1,299. The new iMacs were unveiled at the iPad mini event, along with a slew of Apple products. The 21.5-inch iMac has a 1,920 x 1,080 screen with a FaceTime HD camera and dual microphones. In fact both the 27-inch and the 21.5-inch models come with FaceTime and dual mics. Both models also contain Gigabit Ethernet, Thunderbolt and USB ports.

The larger 27-inch iMac also contains a 2,560 x 1,440 display, along with a wireless keyboard and wireless magic mouse. The 21.5 inch version also contains the same feature and comes with a 1,920 x 1,080 screen.
