Gadget Herald: This year’s CES 2011, has turned out to be very special for everyone as the South Korean electronics manufacturer, LG and T-Mobile have teamed up to launch a Honeycomb powered tablet. This will be the first tablet which has been launched by the companies together and it will run on the latest Android 3.0 or ‘Honeycomb’.
The companies have not spoken much about the device which is said to launch in the coming few months, but it has been confirmed it will run on the latest Google Android 3.0 Honeycomb operating system. The Honeycomb operating system is clearly built to run on tablets and high end smartphones, an operating system which is the first of its kind after the iOS.
The company officials have said that they will not release any more information regarding the tablet, nor the price or photos, until an event held on Thursday. Some new features that the Honeycomb will have is – widgets, multi-tasking, browsing, notifications and customization, along with this it also comes with the Google Maps 5.0 with 3D interaction, a massive collection of Google ebooks and also GTalk with video and voice chat.
