US-based computer peripherals manufacturer Razer has announced a few updates on its line of gaming notebooks, the Blade and the Blade Pro. New laptops have features of the latest Intel Hasswell processors and the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 765M GPU. The company has also said that it has sought to design a laptop with the power only normally found in a chunky gaming laptop. On the other hand, it has a slim and sleek premium feel of a modern Ultrabok.
The Razer Blade is a 14-inch model which is LED-backlit HD+ display, with a native resolution of 1,600 X 900 pixels. The Razer, along with the Intel fourth generation processor, has been installed with 8 GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GTX 765M graphics which has a 768 CUDA cores and is powered by 850 MHz.
The laptop has a 256 GB SSD drive fixed storage. The device has been built in a very sleek aluminum chassis which is just 16.8 mm thick and laptop weighs just 1.88 kg. Other features of the laptop include a fully anti-ghosted Synapse 2.0-enabled backlit keyboard. The laptop has a 70 Wh battery, which gives a claimed six hours usable time away from the power outlet.
Both devices will be available for pre-order in US and Canada starting June 3, 2013. Razer Blade will be priced at $1,799 and Razer Blade Pro will cost $2,299.
