Latest Nexus 7 to be launched in the UK

The latest tablet by Google, Nexus 7 is set to go on sale in the UK market. Asus – the company that makes the device – has said that the new Nexus 7 will go on sale on August 28, 2013. Reports claim that the device will be available through Google’s online Play Store, along with other retailers.

The tablet will be available in two sizes and the 16 GB model will cost £199, while the 32 GB version will cost a whopping £239. The new version of the tablet is not as affordable as the previous version, which was available for £159 since it appeared in 2012. The new model of Nexus started selling in the US on July 30, 2013.

The upcoming Nexus will be a newer version of the old Nexus 7 and will feature a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, with a higher, 1,920 x 1,200-pixel resolution screen. The new Nexus will also have Android 4.3, which is the latest version of Google’s operating system.

The device will be the first in line for fresh Android versions when Google releases them. In 2013, the low price and better specifications of the Nexus 7 have impressed users.
