Apple starts taking pre-orders for iPhone 5C

US giant Apple and a few carriers have started taking orders for the iPhone 5C and have promised that the date of shipping will be September 20, 2013. Same as with previous years, the online sales have faced some difficulties at the very beginning. Business partners and Apple have started taking orders on September 13, 2019, for iPhone 5C, which was introduced last week.

The pre-orders were scheduled to begin at 12:01 am, but the online stores of Apple were still not usable until 12:12 am. On the other hand, customers of T-Mobile in Germany and O2 in the UK might have had better luck. In the US market, the online stores of AT&T and T-Mobile were taking orders, but Verizon and Sprint still showed only information pages.

The iPhone 5C is available in five colors, along with 16 GB and 32 GB models and the inventory management has become more complex in the iPhone 5C era. Sprint said that the iPhone 5C models will be shipped within two weeks, except the yellow ones which will ship within three weeks.

However, Apple is not offering pre-orders for the iPhone 5S and the new high-end model’s price starts at $199 and adds new hardware features like a faster processor, fingerprint security system and an improved camera.
