Google to launch Nexus Wireless Charger

If smartphone users think that charging their devices with a help of wires is a messy option, then here is a solution for the Google Nexus 7 (2013), Nexus 5 and Nexus 4 in the United States. Users of these Google devices will have the option to charge their smartphones without in a completely wireless way. The search engine giant is offering the Nexus Wireless Charger from the Google Play store, which will be priced at $49.99.

The new Wireless charger attaches to the device magnetically and enables users to charge their smartphone or tablet without the need to connect it through wires. The new technology introduced also removes the risk of charging points which can be broken and this issue has affected the first generation Nexus 7.

The charger features the QI interface standard and has the ability to conform to any surface, as well as plug into a USB port or into a power socket. The device’s portability is good due to its dimensions and 105 g weight and is available in a sleek black finish. The only drawback is that wireless chargers are not universal, but this does not come as a surprise as mobile users had to wait for universal chargers for a long time.

The new wireless charger can make a great Christmas gift this holiday season in the US.
