South Korean giant Samsung Electronics is already a popular company in terms of selling smartphones to the consumers. But now the company is aiming towards the government as well as the government clients. For this Samsung has to first master a few skills.
The Galaxy maker has to build a good customer service network to work with enterprises and also has to built a good security platform which can meet the needs of some of the world’s most security conscious network managers.
Samsung’s security system for mobile devices known as Knox has been facing several delays with programming bugs and some of the frustrating clients include the US Defense Department. The problem has been privately acknowledged by the executives of Samsung and have said that they are listening to the complaints and addressing the issues.
If Samsung can deal with such concerns then it could give the south Korea based company, Suwon a good shot at wrestling control of the enterprise device market from ailing BlackBerry. BlackBerry is a Canadian smartphone maker whose security features had made it to the gold standard for years among the government officials and corporate executives. Now it has become a top priority for Samsung to fix the pending problems as it will be profitable for the company to sell phones in the business segment.
