Samsung Galaxy Note 3 to get Android KitKat update

There is some good news ahead for users of Samsung Galaxy Note 3, as the new update is all set to be rolled out for the new Android operating system. The Note 3 will soon get the Android KitKat update, however, the upcoming rollout will not happen everywhere at once and will be released in a phased manner.

Poland will be the first country to get the Android KitKat update for the Galaxy Note 3. Users in Poland will be able to have the update through the Samsung Kies update software. Apart from the US and Poland, the international version of the device uses the Exynos processor of Samsung.

The Polish version of the Note 3 device is almost identical to the one available in the United States, so it is possible that the US will be the second location to receive the update. The new Galaxy Note 3 has a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 and 386 ppi. In addition to that, the device features the S Pen for writing on the screen.

Even the S Pen has been refurbished and fits nicely under the back rim below the smartphone. The new S Pen is almost the same in size and feel to the unit in the Galaxy Note II.
