AT&T announces pre-orders of LG G Flex in US

American carrier AT&T has not yet announced an official launch date, but the company is already taking pre-orders for its version of the new G Flex from LG. The official website of the carrier says that pre-orders are scheduled to begin shipping on February 4, 2014.

The LG G Flex’s AT&T pricing has been set at $299.99 with a two-year contract, while it is $34.75 per month with AT&T Next 12. The latest G Flex from LG is similar to the model which was first introduced in 2013. The device will feature a 6-inch 720p OLED display, 2.2 GHz quad-core processor, 32 GB of storage, 2 GB of RAM and a 3500 mAh battery.

The device also has a 13-megapixel camera with volume and power buttons – like the ones which are featured on the company’s G2 model – and a 2.1-megapixel front camera. These are all great features, but it remains to be seen how the new device will be received by users. It is also good to see the Life’s Good team releasing the G Flex across a number of carriers in the United States.

This gives users an opportunity to pick up a new smartphone, which is a bit different from other handsets currently available. The device was announced by LG on October 27, 2013.
