Rovio to launch new Angry Birds Stella series in fall 2014

The creator of the globally popular game ‘Angry Birds’, Rovio announced the launch of a new franchise which is based off its popular game. The upcoming ‘Angry Birds Stella’ will be featuring a group of feisty characters and will have a series of games, books, toys and animated programming.

So far, no additional details have been unveiled regarding when exactly the series will launch or what type of game players can expect. Mikael Hed, the CEO of Rovio said, “Angry Birds Stella is breaking the mold by introducing strong, passionate characters who really stand for something, while adding plenty of action and reality into the mix”.

The standard ‘Angry Birds’ game has many birds which try to reclaim eggs that are stolen by a group of greedy pigs. Players are supposed to weaken the pigs’ defenses of the pigs by launching the birds with a sling shot. The company said that the new ‘Angry Birds Stella’ will open the door to a part of the Angry Birds universe that game enthusiasts have never experienced before.

The ‘Angry Birds’ enthusiasts can expect plenty of fun and adventure, but gamers will also have to deal with some serious issues in order to protect their friendship and the environment that they live in.
