Jawbone launches wireless Up24 wristband in 29 markets

The wait is finally over for all fitness enthusiasts. It has been confirmed that fitness tracker Jawbone Up24 will be available in other countries as well, other than the US. The company has announced that the device will now be available in 29 new markets across the globe, including China, United Kingdom and Japan.

The Up24 wristband has been designed so that it is always connected to user’s smartphone through Bluetooth, which allows you to track activity, as well as sleep patterns. The wireless device will be available for both iOS and Android devices. The new markets where the device will be available include Belgium, Austria, Denmark, Finland, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Germany, France, Ireland, Norway, Netherlands, Norway, Poland , Portugal, China, Taiwan, Thailand, Australia and Japan.

Users can also share their accomplishments with friends by teaming up in the UP app. The new device can prove to be a boom in the wearable devices sector.

The best part of the device is that it helps the user to sleep, move and eat and also helps you to make smarter choices. The app displays movement and sleep details from the UP24 or UP band and delivers insights, reminds of important dates and challenges the person to do better on a daily basis. The battery reportedly lasts for seven days, compared to 10 days of its predecessor.
