BB.Suit Wi-Fi jacket to serve as walking hotspot

People who like to be on the go at all times have to stay connected while doing so. Today, Wi-Fi routers are the only way to stay connected through Wi-Fi. One of the possible solutions for this problem was the Wi-Fi dongle, however, the device has proved to be hopelessly slow and ultimately, not a good replacement.

Fashion designer Borre Akkersdijk came up with an idea for this problem and made the BB.Suit, which can be used as a Wi-Fi hotspot. The material of the outfit has been designed so that it has gaps between the threads and has been created by 3D printing the fabric. The fabric has been made so that it can catch the waves of Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, as well as GPS.

The designer of the suit said that even other accessories like smartphones and smartwatches can be effectively used this way. The creator also admitted that plenty of improvements still have to be made before the Wi-Fi jacket is made available to the general public. The working of the suit has been demonstrated by Borre.

At one point, Borre turned himself into a moving jukebox. This kind of a device can be a blessing for people who need to be connected while on the go and are not able to connect online.
