US based tech giant Apple has unveiled its own batter case for its iPhone 6 and 6s. The new accessory will help to double the standard talk time capacity on the device. The batter case has been designed to protect and offer up to 25 hours of additional talk time.
Apple has kept itself away from bigger battery capacity in the iPhones so as to keep it light and slim despite the fact that it would need charging more frequently. But here is a device for customers who need that extra battery life with the help of the Smart Battery Case for its latest iPhones. The company has claimed that it offers an extra 25 hours of talk time, 18 hours of extra internet use on LTE with a video playback of up to 20 hours.
If claims from the US based company turn out to be true then it would more than double the iPhone 6s’ battery life of 14 hours talk time on 3G. The new accessory for latest iPhones are available in charcoal grey or white and has been priced at $99 in the US and €119 in Germany and £79 in the UK.
The battery sits behind as a raised block on the back of the device like the silicon protectors do.
