Samsung to begin production of Galaxy Note 7

As the south Korean giant Samsung prepares to rollout its Galaxy Note 7 in August, 2016, it is all set to begin the manufacturing. Reports say that Samsung will be manufacturing 5 million units of its stylus based phablet for the initial supply.
Last year Samsung produced 5 million of its Galaxy Note 5 for the entire quarter. A large initial supply of its Note 7 has indicated that Samsung is expecting better sales for this year’s model. In recent times it has been noticed that Samsung has struggled in terms of smartphone sales due to intense competition.
However, heavy demand of the Galaxy S7 helped the company to revive and resulted in a 12% jump in earnings. The Galaxy Note 7 will be empowered with a dual edge display. Meanwhile, Samsung has already adopted curved displays on both sides of the Galaxy S6 Edge and the Galaxy S7 Edge phones.
The Galaxy Note Edge has a curved display but just on one side. This is going to be the first time a Galaxy Note device will have two curved edges. The new device is a combination of a phone and a tablet and is expected to have a 5.8 inch screen and an iris scanner.
