Micromax Andro A60 smartphone review

Gadget Herald: Indian cellphone manufacturer, Micromax had launched the Andro A60 smartphone last year, and it was the first Android operating system phone from the company. At Rs.6,999/-, it is the cheapest Android phone in India, and indeed has pulled thousands of customers in India. It has not been outstanding, but an overall decent performer, so it’s worth a buy.

First look at the phone, its design mesmerizes everyone; the matte black finish along with a touch screen gives it a decent look. It is a single SIM phone, running on the Android 2.1 éclair, and is runs smoothly on its 600 MHz processor. In addition to this, the A60’s memory can be expanded to 32GB, which is almost the size of some tablet PC’s.

Experts have claimed the device is quite slow if it is loaded to the edge, and the screen becomes ceased and less responsive. Even though it has certain drawbacks, the phone is doing quite well in the Indian market, thanks to its price everyone wants to have an A60 in their hands.
