Motorola Xoom tablet PC to arrive soon in UK, priced between £440 and £540

Gadget Herald: The Motorola Xoom tablet PC will arrive soon in the UK and the device shall be priced between £440 and £540 in the market. The 3G device will cost around £440 and the Wi-Fi enabled device will be priced at £540. This is the first tablet PC which shall be launched with the Google Android 3.0 Honeycomb operating system.

The good news is, the tablet will be available in the market with the common retailers rather with the network distributors. According to the CEO Sanjay Jha, the price of this device is on the dearer side due to its competition with the Apple iPad.

He did stress on the fact that, pricing of the device shall play a very important role, but it features and build quality are worth the price tag. Samsung had earlier claimed the Galaxy Tab 7″ was doing pretty well in the market and they had managed to sell around 2 million units, but later it was reconfirmed, the devices were shipped and have not yet made it in the hands of the consumers.
