Google Fi offers Pixel phones at half prices

Search engine giant Google is celebrating the fourth anniversary of Project Fi. To mark the celebrations, Google is offering its Pixel 3 and the Pixel 3 XL at half of its price for today only on April 22, 2019. But there is a catch. The offer is only available to new and existing Google Fi customers and applies once they are connected to the network. If the users come under that category, there are some serious savings happening while buying the Pixel 3 and the Pixel 3 XL.

The cheapest option that the buyers get is the 64 GB Pixel 3 which has been discounted from $799 to $399 while the 128 GB model has been priced at just $449 compared to the earlier price of $899. If you are feeling like a spendthrift, you can get more camera choices as the Pixel 3 XL is available for $449 or $499 in 64 GB and 128 GB options respectively. So far these are the best prices that have been seen on the Pixel phones.

The discount will run until midnight PST on April 22, 2019 and is applied automatically at checkout. The buyers will also need to activate the device within 30 days of shipping. The device is available for both new and existing subscribers of the Google MVNO. A rebranding that happened in November 2018, had dropped the Project prefix with the service and is now just Google Fi.

Fi offers unlimited plan called Billing Protection that automatically begins when subscribers use more than 6GB of data per month with unlimited data available until 15 GB. The unlimited calling and texting costs $20 every month. It is designed for the Fi phones like Pixel which can take full advantage of the network switching to provide the best coverage with other enhanced features like the Google VPN also available. The offer is surely lucrative and can this is the only time it can be grabbed as it ends in 24 hours.
