Xiaomi to launch Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro in China

5G phones is what many companies are working on. South Korean giant Samsung too recently launched its series of 5G phones. Chinese giant Xiaomi has also launched its flagship Mi 10 series of smartphones namely the Mi 10 and the Mi 10 Pro. Both the devices have a 6.67 inch 2340 X 1080 OLED displays and has a Snapdragon 865 processors. It also has dual-mode 5G, up to 12 GB RAM and Wi Fi 6 along with quad-camera configuration. The device is also has a massive 108 megapixel rear camera that has the ability to record 8K video.

Initially, both the smartphones will be shipped in China only and will not be available in the International markets. The devices were expected to be launched on February 23, 2020 at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. But that major event was cancelled due to the ongoing coronavirus scare. But then Xiaomi said that it will soon announce the new release date.

Talking about the Mi 10 Pro, it is obvious that it is the higher version and has up to 512GB of on-board storage with 50W fast wire charging and also has a slightly brighter display. At the same time the Pro version’s battery has a smaller 4,500 while the Mi 10 device has a 4,780 battery.

Talking about the cameras, the Mi 10 Pro has a 108 megapixel sensor that has been paired with an optically stabilized eight-element lens. The device will start shipping in China from February 14, 2020 and the price of the device will begin from 3,999, yuan. The smartphone will be available in peach gold, black and blue. The Mi 10 Pro will be available in the Chinese market from February 18, 2020 and the starting price of the device will be 4,999 yuan or $715. The Mi 10 Pro will be available only in blue and white colors. Xiaomi is one of the popular mobile brands in China and has most of the time given preference to launch its phones in the Chinese markets first.
