Xiaomi launches Black Shark 3 and Black Shark 3 Pro gaming phones with 5G support

While a segment on the gaming sector had opined that the mobile gaming has become outdated, the concept of hand-held consoles started to gain popularity. And now Xiaomi has come up with an exclusive product for gaming with its Black Shark line-up. The Chinese giant has come up with the third generation of the series and also features 5G radios. The gaming earbuds that come along with the device is like the icing on the cake for the gamers.

People who reside outside China and wish to get their hands on the device can get the Black Shark 3 Pro, Black Shark 3 and the Ophidian Bluetooth earbuds. The devices are expected to be launched outside the Chinese market soon. The new phones that have been launched offer a lot more than earlier devices in terms of the sizes. There is certainly the 5G support and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 with 8GB or 12 GB of RAM.

The devices can be charged with USB-C cables and additionally, the users can also charge them magnetically with accessories that are compatible. The Black Shark line-up has also joined hands with Tencent Games that provide game optimizations and also software that will be supported by the devices. The company has claimed that the gaming devices are the world’s first to have 5G support in a way that can be accurate in terms of its geographical reach.

The pre-sales of the Black Shark 3 has started off in China from March 3, 2020 at a starting price of 3499 yuan which comes to a rough figure of $502. The Black Shark 3 Pro will be available from March 10, 2020 and will retail for 4699 yuan that comes to $675. However, the accurate USD price tags will be revealed when these devices are ready to be launched globally. Black Shark is also bringing its neck-based earbuds and the customers can reserve their pair for just $69.
