Fitness watch manufacturer Polar has recently launched its multi-sport watch that has a promising battery life and is perfect for all the fitness enthusiasts who like to challenge their limits. The new Grit X has the ability to run up to 40 hours on a single charge and that too with all of its features activated. This means, when the device is put on the power saving mode, it can run up to 100 hours. A user certainly does not use all of the features at once in any case and this makes its batter life even more promising, a feature that many wearable gadgets lack.

Apart from a great battery life, the Grit X has a number of features including a GPS tracker, a wrist-based heart monitor, altimeter, compass and more. There is a special Hill Splitter feature that can track the uphill and downhill segments and gives details as well. The users can also use its route planning feature and also a new FuelWise assistant that will remind the user when to have the next meal. It can be similar to the Body Battery by Garmin.

Feature wise it is rich as it has a sleep quality tracker along with other useful coaching options. The best part is, despite having so many features, the watch is tough and has undergone many US military-grade tests and includes humidity drop tests and extreme temperature tests. But the feature that is going to attract the users is it battery life.

For Instance, the Fenix 6S by Garmin offers a battery life of up to 50 hours on its GOS power saving mode. Otherwise the batter lasts only up to six hours in GPS mode when the user is listening to music. This means that the Grit X can be used for the entire week without having the need to be charged. It has a price tag of $429.95 and is also available with a number of bands costing between $30 and $50.
