Xbox Series X to launch in November 2020 without Halo Infinite

Gamers have been eagerly waiting for the next console from Microsoft. The fact can now be celebrated that Microsoft is launching its much awaited Xbox Series X in the month of November, 2020. The month of the launch was revealed by the giant on August 11, 2020. The US based software giant had earlier promised to launch the console for the holiday season of 2020. Despite the promise, there is still no word on the pricing.

The packaging on the yet to be released Series X controller has instructed the retailers not to sell or display the devices until November 6, 2020. The gamers could rejoice by the news, but there is also a spoiler. The biggest launch titles for the console Halo Infinite will have to be delayed to 2021. The company had earlier targeted the same holiday 2020 window for the release. But the decision has been made due to some of the concerns regarding the visuals of the game during the game demo in July, 2020.

The announcement was made by Microsoft through a blog post on August 11, and that could be to soften the delay news of the Halo Infinite. 343 Industries is the team behind the console game and the announcement was made on Twitter. Halo Infinite is one of the much awaited titles that the gamers are waiting for and is expected to feature some intense battles that are going to be a visual treat. The title will also be available for the Xbox One and PC. The Xbox One is currently available in the market.

The first Halo was launched in 2001 along with the launch of the Xbox. Developer Bungie had then left the franchise and started working on Destiny which is a popular shooter series. However, 343 Industries has been behind Halo since 2011. Halo Infinite might have been delayed, but Microsoft has assured that there would still be thousands of games that can be played.
