South Korean giant Samsung has in recent times unveiled some premium devices in the foldable segment with its Galaxy Z Fold 2. The new foldable device has been introduced after the earlier devices had failed to keep up with the expectations of the critics. However, Samsung also understands that the pandemic time has not passed and people are still crunched in terms of managing their budget. During its Life Unstoppable virtual event on September 2, 2020, the company announced a series of new devices that includes the Galaxy A42 5G.

Samsung during the presentation claimed that it will be one of the most affordable 5G devices yet. Apart from the new 5G devices, the company has also launched a new wireless charger which will have the ability to charge multiple devices at a time. Samsung has also showed off a new Android tablet christened as the Galaxy Tab A7. The new Galaxy A42 5G is a part of the mid-range A series line-up. The company has said that the device has a quad camera array on the rear side with a 6.6 inch OLED display and will be available in black color. The A42 5G will be launched later in 2020.

The wireless charger is something that it has been working on since a long time. It is also the latest trend in terms of charging phones in the most convenient ways. The Samsung charger is known as the Wireless Charger Trio that has the ability to supply power to three devices at a time. The device is the sequel to the Wireless Charger Duo and as the name has revealed that it could charge just two devices at a time.

But the press release by Samsung has not mentioned what will be the charging speed, which has been a major drawback in the wireless chargers that support multiple devices. Reports say that the device will be priced at €99 when it is officially launched.
