There was a time when swollen batteries was a problem that was commonly detected in mobile phones. The problem was either due to a manufacturing defect or the circumstances where the device has been. But now with the improvement of technology and the cut throat competition in the smartphone segment, it becomes the question of reputation and also compromises in terms of trust. It seems like the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL by Google are the devices which are facing the problem of swollen batteries.

A number of users of the Pixel 3 series have through the Pixel Phone Community Thread have complained about the battery that was getting swollen. It has been specified by many of the users that the back side of the covers are popping off due to the swelling of the battery. While some of the users came to know about the problem only when they took their phones out of their cases. So the Pixel 3 and the Pixel 3 XL users should check their phones.

Reports say that the problem might he a result of the phones that are failing to be charged wirelessly. This also poses a safety problem and people are coming up at forums to talk about it. There are also reports that Google is not ready to fix the devices as they are out of warranty. But one of the users from the forum has revealed that the search engine has offered to replace the device despite the fact that they had purchased it through an auction website.

However, the problem not just lies with the failure of the Pixel 3 charging wirelessly, but there are also reports that the devices are sliding off from the Pixel Stand charger. Apart from that there are users who say that the case buttons are not aligned with the phone buttons while the battery of the device drains easily. Google is yet to comment on the problem.
