iPhone 5 to be unveiled by Tim Cook on 4th October?

Gadget Herald: A lot has been spoken about on the internet about the release of the much awaited iPhone 5 of Apple. Inc. Now many of the media reports have strongly indicated that the new Apple CEO Tim Cook may unveil the iPhone 5 at a special event on 4th October 2011.

The event will be held at the Cupertino campus of Apple. The launch of the iPhone 5 will be the first major product launch for Cook after Steve Jobs resigned from his post last month.

The company has reportedly organized a media event for the launch of the latest version of its popular smartphone iPhone. While most of the product launching events take place at the Yerba Buena Center or the arts, Apple’s decision to conduct the opening at the town hall comes as a surprise.

The exact reason of the change of the venue for the launch is not yet clear, but it seems like the new CEO has brought certain changes in the decisions of launching its products. However, the Wi-Fi connectivity in the Cupertino campus is much better than that in the YBCA, which will make it easier for the company to showoff and demonstrate the iPhone 5. Moreover, till now the company has not indicated when the iPhone 5 will be made available in the stores.
