Nokia to launch its budget smartphone 1.4

Seems like, Nokia is once again ready to capture the smartphone market. It has launched the Nokia 1.4 that it claims to be family-friendly. The smartphone is the only device that has a big display with a low price. The new Nokia 1.4 has a 6.5 inch HD+ display along with a teardrop design, 4000 mAh battery, Qualcomm Snapdragon 215 processor with a dual camera set-up. The new smartphone has been designed specifically for the entry-level markets but despite that it is worth to check it out once. The device has a durable design and also has some of the high-end photography features Night Mode and Portrait Mode.

Chief Productive Officer and Vice President of North America at HMD Global, Juho Sarvikas said that he is a father of two and realizes about the struggles that are faced by a number of families as they have to be a part of many activities. Sarvikas added that with the growing needs, they wanted to create something that would cater towards an enjoyable experience that would be reliable. It benefits all the family members without putting any pressure on the financial issues.

The Nokia 1.4 will be launching with Android 10 Go but has assured that it is ready for Android 11 Go and beyond. The company also assured that the device would continue to receive security updates for at least the next three years. The device also has parental controls that will be allowing the users to manage the content that has been downloaded from Google Play Store.

Sarvikas added that the phone will allow the users to do a number of works like paying bills, managing work emails, online extra-curricular activities for kids and more. The device will be available in three colors Dust, Charcoal and Fjord and will be priced at €99. For now HMD Global has not specified as to which countries the smartphone will be available.
