Amazon ready with annual hardware and services event on September 28

The Echo devices from Amazon are loved by many as they are known for their usage and versatility. The company is now ready to launch fresh set of the Echo devices. Amazon is all set to host its annual hardware and services event on September 18, 2021 at 9 AM PST/12 pm EST/ 5 pm BST. The official announcement was made by the company on September 21, 2021.

The mere announcement of the event has indicated that the company could be ready with its upcoming Echo devices. If things work out as planned, then it will be right in time before the holiday season begins. This is also an event when the audience gets to know about upgrades for the Amazon Luna, Amazon Music and the Amazon Prime Video. Like always, the event will be live-streamed and will be an invitation-only event.

This means that not everyone will be able to witness the event as it will not be showing on YouTube or Twitch. The 2020 annual event by Amazon showed the announcement of the Amazon Echo (2020), Amazon Echo Dot, the Eero 6 Mesh Router, new Amazon Show devices and the Amazon Luna. The first Amazon annual event was held at Seattle, and had made more than 100 announcements about products and services. But then the number of announcements went down and became more manageable to cover. However, it continues to be a significant event and is on par with the iPhone 13 event by Apple.

In 2021, the audience could look forward to the upcoming series of the Echo devices that includes the smart speakers, wearables, and smart screens. There is surely something new every year for the audience and it is expected that the trend would continue in 2021 as well. While the hardware is predictable, the services side continues to remain a mystery. But there could be some updates for the game-streaming service Luna and a few trailers of the Amazon Prime TV shows and movies.
