OnePlus 10 Pro launched in China but the global version could be different

Tech giant OnePlus unveiled its flagship smartphone on January 11, 2022. The company showed off its OnePlus 10 Pro that has only been launched in China and so far only the Chinese pricing and availability information has been revealed. While talking about the launch of the OnePlus 10 Pro in the rest of the world, people might see something different.

OnePlus company representative while talking to a leading daily said that there could be a slight change in the specifications and that would depend on the regional availability. It was added that the changes would be announced along with the global launches which is expected to happen sometime in 2022. However, people should not expect big changes in the OnePlus 10 Pro when launched in other countries. The smartphone has a new camera module along with Emerald Forest and Volcanic Black colors that would be carried to most of the other markets where it will be launched.

However, inside things could be a little different. The company has not made it clear if the phone has an IP rating or not as the OnePlus 9 Pro and the OnePlus 8 Pro had had IP68 ratings. There are possibilities that the phone might not be IP certified in China and could be in other areas. Even the RAM/storage configurations could be different.

In the United States the T-Mobile variant of OnePlus 8T had IP ratings but the unlocked variant of the smartphone did not have one. In any way, the potential changes as per the region would be known soon. For now one thing is clear that the OnePlus 10 Pro launched in China will not be the same that is launched in other regions. A lot of gadget enthusiasts are looking forward for the launch of the flagship handset by OnePlus which is known for making quality smartphones with best features and at a reasonable price. As mentioned the features of the OnePlus 10 Pro would be known along with the regional launch.
