Gadget Herald: Seagate has officially launched the GoFlex line of external hard drives specifically build for Mac users. The common hard drives manufactured by Seagate too can be read on Mac based machines, but the latest GoFlex series have a better design and new features. One of the new features include the HFS+ file-system, which is quite similar to the NTFS format for Windows.
The package is not yet complete, the drives come with FireWire 800 connectivity along with the USB 2.0 which is also comes default with the device. The buyers also have an option to use the eSATA and USB 3.0 adapters to use the device.
These new drives are said to make the operation on Mac quite smooth and easy, for the company states they are best for Apple based devices. The following are the prices and size of the devices available in the market.

GoFlex Mac Limited Edition ultra portable drive – $199.95 for 1TB
