Google Nexus S Smartphone Released By Samsung

Samsung has finally released the Google Nexus S smartphone in the international market, after many rumours and speculations into the launch of the phone; Google finally broke it’s silence after its official launch. The phone is said to run on the latest Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system.

Google had been working closely with Samsung to launch this phone, as the previous Nexus failed to perform considerably in the market. The Nexus S will hit stores early 2011, but the exact dates have not yet been disclosed. Google has chosen it’s launch destination in Australia, and Samsung Australia is quite excited to go ahead with this launch.

The Google Nexus One was launched in Australia under the carrier Vodafone, but it failed miserably in the market in Australia and as well as many countries across the world.

Some of the notable features of this beauty include 16GB of internal storage, 720p video recording, in addition to a 5 megapixel still camera, as well as a front-facing camera for video chat. It also comes with standard 3G/Wi-Fi/Bluetooth and 1 GHz processor.
There are great expectations from this phone and everyone has their fingers crossed over the performance of the Nexus S. The mobile will be priced around $200, and with a T-Mobile contract it should be costing around $530.
