Google to help with weight loss via Helpouts

Search engine giant Google has launched its Helpouts service, which is an online video tutorial system for people who are facing certain problems. The company’s latest service will help people with questions related to doing yoga, retouching a photo or putting on makeup.

In an introductory video posted on YouTube, Google said, “Helpouts is a new way to get and give personalised help over live video. Our goal is simple: help people help each other. We want to enable everyone, no matter where they are or what time it is, to easily connect with someone who can help.” Helpouts is a new system which will enable people to actually interact with an expert who has the knowledge related to an issue, without having to be in the same room as them.

Google in its blog post said that this is just the beginning of Helpouts and the company will keep adding more skilled people and more recognizable companies will come online to help in the future. The new service will allow people to choose who they want to get help from, based on their qualification.

Meanwhile, Google already teamed up with a few companies and people can get help from brands like One Medical, Sephora, Weight Watchers, Redbeacon and Rosetta Stone.
