Vodafone offers Xperia Z2 smartphone in UK

Smartphone manufacturing giant Sony is gearing up for the release of its latest handset, the Xperia Z2 and the device is appearing in a number of places for pre-order, one month before its official launch in the UK. Vodafone is one of the retailers which will be offering Sony’s new device to its customers.

The telecom giant announced April 10, 2014 as the launch date, which is just one day before Phones 4u  releases the device, as April 11, 2014 has been confirmed as their release date. With this in mind, Sony is likely to launch the device in the market around April 10, 2014. Various retailers are offering many Sony goodies, along with the Xperia Z2 device.

However, Vodafone went one step ahead compared to everyone else and instead of the usual speakers and kit is offering a free Sony Bravia 32-inch TV with the handset. The only catch here is that the first 3,000 customers who have hit the pre-order button will be able to get the free Sony TV with the Sony device. The TV offered here is the KDL 32 R47 model.

Vodafone is giving the phone on a contract, in which the smartphone comes for free on a £42-per-month plan which will have unlimited calls and texts along with 1 GB of data. The telecom operator will be offering the cheapest plan at £34 per month for 300 minutes with unlimited text messages and 250 MB of data.
