Apple pushes production of larger screen iPads

US tech apple has postponed the production of its larger screen iPads. The company is currently at the stage of finalising design and features for the product which will be targeted towards the businesses.

Earlier reports had claimed that the company wished to mass manufacture the 12.9 in iPad during the current quarter. But now Apple has moved the production to the second half of 2015. Reports claimed that the production of the devices have been scheduled in the month of September 2015.

Some of the recent models of the iPad include the iPad Air 2 and the 9.7 inch screen the iPad Mini 3 which has a 7.9 inch display. However, Apple has so far not hinted anything about a larger screen display. The redesign issues which are causing the delay include, addition of USB ports and faster USB 3.0 specification.

Apple is also trying its best to speed up the charging time of the device, but that might not work out for the final design. The company is also considering to add ports for a keyboard and a mouse. Apple was not immediately available for any comment. The company is expected to announce new products at an event on March 9, 2015.
