Eyefi launches Wi Fi SD card with free cloud storage

Wi-Fi enabled SD card manufacturing giant Eyefi launched its new 32 GB Wi FI SD card the Eyefi Mobi Pro on March 12, 2015. The new product Eyefi Mobi Pro is specially meant for the photographers the ability to determine which items will be automatically from their camera in to the mobile device or computer units.

The original version of the product transferred all the images to the single computer or a device. The card, with the help of the mobile device will take over the Wi Fi and transfer the images before the connection gets dropped. When at home, the card can work with the local network so that it can seamlessly transfer without interruptions.

The features of the new product seem great but reports say that the card’s speed of transfer is very low and is not ideal for taking images with high resolution. The device has a price tag of $99.99 for a 32 GB storage capacity. The buyers will also get a 12 month membership to the company’s cloud storage service at $49.99. After the period expires, the subscribers will have to bear the bill for the cloud service .

As the device works with Eyefi it syncs the pictures automatically and there will be no need for acquiring larger storage. When the specified timespan is finished the users will need to shell out some bucks to get unlimited storage.
