Microsoft to pull plugs from Internet Explorer 8,9 and 10

US based software giant Microsoft is all set to cut off support from its older versions of Microsoft Explorer. Microsoft will be taking back support from the Internet Explorer 8,9 and 10 on January 12, 2016. With the end of the older versions, the users will be forced to use either Microsoft Edge or Internet Explorer 11.
However, the versions of Explorer will still be usable but will not be able to receive any more security or technical updates after the cut-off takes place. This has also meant that people who still continue to use the older versions will become more vulnerable to security loopholes and hackers. Microsoft has announced that the final patch of the browser versions will show a ‘end of life’ notification which will intimate the users to switch to Internet Explorer 11, which is the latest version of the browser.
The users will also be encouraged to switch to Microsoft Edge which is the new browser of the company, designed to suit the features of the modern web. The software giant had announced in August 2014 that it would soon end support to the older versions.
Internet explorer is still one of the most used browsers among users and it is believed that plenty of users are still using the outdated versions.
