First look into the Sony PlayStation Phone Xperia Play

Gadget Herald: The Sony Xperia Play PlayStation Phone specs have been leaked out by a Chinese website, and analysts have taken a first look at this device and in their terms it is an exceptional piece of technology. The Xperia Play project was codenamed ZEUS, and this was officially known that Sony was merging a gaming console and a phone together when the photos of the device emerged on the web.

It is a 4inch touch screen phone, having a BRAVIA mobile display engine on board. Due to the stress given on the display technology the phone has a 854Ă—480 pixel resolution. The specification of the Wi-Fi have not yet been disclosed but it has been assumed it is a Wi-Fi gadget.

The phone is loaded with technology, as it is running on a 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8655 and also a Adreno 205 graphics chip, which should provide the device with exceptional clarity. The Play has a 512MB RAM and is based on the Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system. The camera of the phone is a 5 megapixel Exmor, which gives the best image even in low light.
