The first Nokia Android smartphone is finally here! After much market speculation, Nokia 6 has finally been released in the Chinese markets for 1,699 yuan ($246).
The device runs on Google’s Android platform and has been manufactures by Foxconn. It’s powered by Android 7.0 and comes with a 3000 mAh non-removal battery. It will be sold throughout China exclusively through JD.com. This is the first Nokia phone to hit markets since 2014 when Nokia Oyj chose to sell its Devices and Services division to Microsoft and has since been operating with a brand licensing model since then.
Nokia 6 comes with a 5.5 inch touchscreen with a resolution of 1080*1920 pixels. It’s powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor and comes with 4 GB RAM and and an internal storage of 64GB which can be extended up to 128 GB via a microSD card. As for the camera, Nokia 6 is supported by a 16 mega-pixel primary back camera and an 8 mega pixel front camera.
