The first Nokia phone with an Android operating system is going to be launched by the Finnish phone makers this August. After reports of leaked images of the Nokia 8 handset, media invites have been sent for an event in London for August 16, 2017.
Nokia is expected to unveil the all new Android Nokia 8 with Carl Zeiss optics. Though the media invites have not mentioned any device specifically, but they convey that Nokia will be showcasing a big milestone in it’s journey.
Some of the expected key features of the Android Nokia 8 include 13 mega pixel sensors with Carl Ziess Optics, 5.3 inch display, 4GB or 6GB RAM, Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and 64 GB Storage. The device is also expected to have a dual SIM option. It is also being expected that the new model will come with the latest Android version of 7.1 Nougat.
Recently, a few images were leaked online which claimed to be that of a Nokia 8 copper gold model. It has not be confirmed, that the company will be launching blue and silver models of Nokia 8 too. After the official launch, the smartphone is expected to start shipping by September 2017. Stay tuned for more updates on this one!
