Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Xiaomi is one of the most popular smartphone brands across the globe. Earlier on August 22, 2018, the company announced the new sub-brand known as the Pocophone , which has now revealed the new F1 smartphone. Though a budget phone does not come as a surprise from Xiaomi, but reports say that the Pocophone F1 is an impressive little device.
It has to be clarified that the F1 is not an inspiration device and does not have all the high-end features of some of the popular flagship smartphones in the market like the iPhone or the Galaxy. The intention of the company is to offer a true flagship power in a package that will not cost far less than the rivals like the One Plus 6. The final price of the smartphone will be decided according to the region.
Since the brand is popular in India, Pocophone product head Jai Mani has confirmed the price in India as Rs. 20,999 which is about $300. This will make the F1 one f the cheapest phones and will have Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 845 chipset. On the other hand the companies like One Plus have tasted success by offering premium performance on a budget. In terms of Pocophone, its approach has taken things further. For the new brand, the company is not focusing on creating benchmarks but is looking forward to nail down a mix of features that the gadget enthusiasts look forward to.
Apart from the Snapdragon 845, the F1 will be loaded with 6 GB RAM, 64 GB storage and the a little costlier models will have 8 GB RAM, and up to 256 GB storage. The Poco enthusiasts will get a 6.18 inch LCD screen, at Full HD+ with Super fast rear finger print sensor which will have 20 mega pixel front facing camera and a huge 4,000 mAh battery. The phone is also crash proof due to its polycarbonate built.
