Some of the recent reports had prompted that Apple is heavily focusing on the sales of its iPhones and has already started offering attractive prices in order to boost sales. But now Apple has taken another step and has shared an interesting new ad campaign that promotes the colorful iPhone XR known as Color Food. The company has released a minute long video which has portrayed some odd totalitarian society where people can be seen running through the streets in basic uniforms and are only distinguished by color.
Most of the colors seen in the video represent the iPhone XR shades and the design comes in black, red, yellow, blue and coral. There are also mixes of green and purple uniforms in the ad as well. The ad continues and has the tagline “Make room for color” and is shown on the blue iPhone XR before promoting the Liquid Retina Display and has briefly showed the front view of the other iPhone XR colors.
Seems like The Color Flood campaign is just to gain more attention but does not promote the benefits and features of the iPhone XR. The video has the song Come Along by Cosmo Sheldrake. Apple decided to make it more merrier and has used a group of parkour athletes.
The backdrop is a dull and seemingly lifeless apartment complex and a large group of free runners that appear in the colors of the iPhone XR. At the end, they all mash together in a burst of color and represent the advance display of the smartphone. The parkour videos are actually accompanied with aggro beats but has the Cosmo Sheldrake music instead. The ad is directed by Rupert Sanders who has worked on some of the remarkable brands like Adidas, Jordan, Verizon, Reebok and Microsoft for Halo 3: ODST that won a Cannes Lions cinematography gold in the year 2010.
