The popular Google Chrome is all set to get a huge upgrade that will give the Windows 10 and Mac users a feature that they have been waiting for. Being one of the most popular browsers, it is regularly updated by the American tech giant. This means that the software constantly receives new features and improvements that make it more intuitive overall.
After the release of the dark modes on Windows 10 and macOS, some of the fans have been eager for Chrome to conform to the aesthetics. A dark theme for the Google Chrome has been rumored for some time. Some of the bug reports on the Chromium blog have made it clear that Google spent much time figuring out that how to differentiate the design decision from its incognito mode. But now it seems that Google has overcome such problems as a dark mode has now appeared in Google Chrome version 74 running in Canary.
The Chrome Canary is a different version of the client that is used to test the upcoming features. A leading daily has noted that the software now conforms to dark themes that are applied on both Windows 10 and macOS Mojave operating systems. The outlet has also shown a GIF of the client switching between the light and dark modes to demonstrate the difference between the two. It can also be noted that some of the computers running on the newest version of Chrome in Canary did not display the new visual style at all.
The dark mode of Google Chrome is expected to alter the color of every part of the browser including the downloads page, omnibox and settings. Reports say that the Google Chrome version 74 will be released for all the fans on April 23, 2019. And before the version 74 is out the search engine will launch the version 73 to the users on March 12, 2019.
