Coronavirus is slowly gripping many countries and this is the time when you need to keep yourself and your surroundings clean and hygienic. Apart from Surfaces and yourself, you also need to take care of the devices that you use on a daily basis like your smartphone and laptops. These are the gadgets that are not washed on an everyday basis and are the most vulnerable things that can be filled with bacteria. But it is actually possible to keep these devices clean.
Since your smartphone is always in your hand it is wise to keep it clean and sanitized but at the same time it can become tough to be careful constantly. The Centres for Disease Control and Prevention has said that there are high chances that your phone might be vulnerable to infections and is also a high-touch surface. Here are a few simple ways you can keep your smartphone clean. You just need a clean cloth and dab it with a solution that has 70 percent isopropyl alcohol.
Smartphone manufacturer has recommended Clorox while others have said that some of the household disinfectants which have been registered by the Environmental Protection Agency are also effective. It is also recommended to wear clean and disposable gloves before you start cleaning and wash your hands thoroughly after you are done with it. Apart from your smartphone, do not forget to clean your phone case as well. You need to wipe it thoroughly in and out and allow it to dry before you assemble it.
Another guideline has been given which says that it is better to share your pictures electronically instead of passing the phone from one hand to other. Do not share your earphones, mouse or Bluetooth devices with others and keep cleaning them everyday. The outbreak is moving fast and it is always safe to take precautions than to regret later.
