LEGO set to launch Super Mario LEGO sets in August

Plastic construction toys LEGO has announce that it is all set to launch its Super Mario line on August 1, 2020. There were some earlier leaks on the announcement, but then it was officially announced by the company itself. The line includes the Mario Starter Course that will be priced at $59.99, the Piranha Plant Power Slide Expansion Set that will be priced at $29.99 and the Browser’s Castle Boss Battle Expansion Set that will be priced at $99.99 USD.

The good news is that the LEGO Super Mario Adventures Mario Starter Course can be pre-ordered from the company’s official website and also from some of the selected retailers across the globe. However, the pre-orders do not appear to be live so far. An official press release says that the fans will be able to explore the much awaited LEGO Super Mario universe with the Adventures with Mario Starter Course. The exciting part is that the LEGO Mario figure has LCD screens in its eyes , belly and mouth that displays a wide variety of instant reactions to the movement, color and action bricks.

To add more features, it also has a speaker that plays some iconic sounds and music that will be from the theme of the video game series. The Starter course can also be bought from the LEGO Super Mario Expansion Sets. They are not just a set of blocks, but also throw challenges to the players as they have characters to play with and can be played against friends. The sets are modular builds and the players can create the LEGO level course that they wish to play.

LEGO is also all set to release a LEGO Super Mario mobile application that will work like a supporting feature to keep a track of the scores. It will also help to encourage while building and also provide digital instructions and suggestions in different creative ways to play and build.
