Apple to launch new software to unlock iPhone while wearing a mask

Cupertino based giant Apple is at present testing a new version of a software that is meant for the iPhones and will allow its users to unlock their devices with the help of Face ID and while they are using a mask. The globe is undergoing the coronavirus pandemic and it has become a regular practice to wear a face covering or a mask to protect themselves and other people from the virus. Due to the current situation, the users have been complaining that while they are using their masks or face coverings, they are facing a tough time to unlock their phones.

At present, the iPhone users will not be able to unlock their devices while they are wearing the masks. Even if they do, then the device will vibrate and after a while it will show a timeout. The device will then allow to swipe up and enter the passcode instead. While the new attempts by Apple seem promising, it is not yet confirmed as to when the new feature will be released. The progress is one of the two new fixes that the company has promised that is related to the coronavirus pandemic.

After the iOS 13.5 beta 3 code s launched, the users will be able to swipe to enter the passcode without the first having to wait for an error when the Face ID has not registered the face with a mask. With the launch of the iOS 13.5 beta 3, new software that is essential for the essential necessary for the applications to develop contact tracing. It will alert people if they have been exposed to someone who has been infected with COVID-19 or has tested positive.

Apple has been taking different measures since the coronavirus pandemic and has also been calculative of how the consumer behavior would be in terms of spending and launched its new iPhone SE that is budget friendly and has been launched while keeping in mind the capacity of the users amidst the coronavirus pandemic.
