Swedish media service provider Spotify has finally addressed an issue that has been pending since many years and had bothered many of its users. The music streaming service has removed the 10,000 song cap on the library size. This means that the users of the music streaming service can now add as much music as possible to their personal libraries. The users of Spotify had complained about this problem since many years.
The service has about 50 million songs for its customers to enjoy at any time, but only 10,000 of it could be saved by the users in their Your Music collection on the service for easy access. A number of times the users requested the service to remove the cap, but the company did not show interest earlier. In 2017, it had announced that at that time they did not have any plans to extend the limit on Your Music for the reason that only one percent of the users actually reach it.
The latest system only allows the ability to save songs to the Spotify library. It has to be clarified that the individual playlist continues to be limited to 10,000 items and the users will be able to download up to 10,000 songs on five different devices each so they could listen to them offline. Spotify has also announced that since the new feature has been launched and officially announced, it could take some time for the feature to reach all of its users.
So if the users continue to see the Epic collection error, this would mean that the users will have to wait for a little longer. Spotify was found in 2008 and is available across the continents like Australia, America, New Zealand and a few parts of Africa and Asia. As of April, 2020, the company had 286 active users and has 130 million paying subscribers.
