Google Pixel 5 likely to be similar to Pixel 4

The upcoming Google Pixel 5 is one of the much awaited flagship phones from the search engine giant. However, if the smartphone observers are expecting something big, then there are possibilities that there could be some disappointment. Reports say that the Pixel 5 might not be very different from the earlier Pixel 4. The Pixel 5 and the Pixel 4a 5G are expected to be launched by the end of September 2020.

Pixel observer Jon Prosser has talked about some interesting design information on the upcoming device. People who are particular about the color, there will be two options for the Pixel 5 and the Pixel 4a 5G. The Pixel 5 will be available in black or green but there is no indication if the device will be available in white as well. The Pixel 4a will be available in black or white. But the white device will be available only by the month of October, 2020. Prosser has also mentioned that the design of the Pixel 5 will be very similar to that of the Pixel 4a and Pixel 4.

September 30, 2020 will be the date when the Pixel 5 might be revealed and the predictions are being made on the basis of the previous events of Google. This is also the time when the audience might also witness the debut of Android 11 that could be available for normal smartphone users to download and try on. Google is also very likely to show off some new hardware and that could be the new version of the Chromecast that has been code-named as Sabrina.

Despite the reports of similarities, the Pixel 5 is still expected to be a lot different from the earlier Pixel phones. The device is also going to be the first to have the punch-hole camera notch on the display. It will also be the first one not to use its flagship-level chipset. With promising features, the upcoming device by Google is surely going to be a competition for Samsung and Apple.
