Xiaomi to launch the Mi 11 on December 28

The launch of the upcoming Mi 11 series by Xiaomi was speculated since long. But now the company has finally revealed the launch date of the upcoming series that will mark the first to be launched with the Snapdragon 888 processor. The Mi 11 series of flagship smartphones are all set to be launched on December 28, 2020. The launch date was announced on the Chinese social media platform Weibo. Xiaomi shared a poster that confirmed that the flagship smartphones would be launched in China at 7:30 pm local time.

The company has already opened the pre-bookings of the phone. Despite the official announcement on the launch date, the company has not given out any word on a global launch of the flagship phones. But it is expected that the global launch would soon follow. At the same time there are reports that the new series by Xiaomi might not have a global launch before January, 2021. Some of the earlier reports had claimed that the Xiaomi Mi 11 line up would be launched on December 29, 2020. But that particular leaked report had not confirmed if it would be a global launch or a China-only launch.

But now it has been made clear that the Mi series is all set to be launched. It is expected that the company would launch the Mi 11 and the Mi 11 Pro models at the launch event. Not much information has been given out about the upcoming smartphones. But some of the images of the upcoming smartphone series have been floating online. Some information is given about the display, battery capacity of two of the flagships.

It is expected that Xiaomi might begin teasing a few details and features of the smartphones in the next few days. Smartpthones from Xiaomi have always been promising and give out the best in the best price and that is what Xiaomi has been all about since its inception.
