Microsoft officially launches Windows 11 with new and familiar features

Software giant Microsoft has officially launched its much awaited Windows 11 operating system. With the launch, it has opened the doors for the Windows users who can now upgrade to Windows 11. The new operating system has been made of a mix of UI Improvements, some familiar features and some missing functionalities that were promised before the launch. It also has security improvements along with less legacy hassle.

Even the upgrade process is smoother than before but once the user has officially switched to Windows 11 they will have to get used to the new playground and give up a few old habits. There is no doubt that Microsoft has made its best efforts to make its interface more modern and inviting but is still under ‘work in progress’. Some of the early adopters will have to keep a few things in mind that when Microsoft was under the process of carving Widows 11 it wanted to make enterprise –grade security for all the machines that are capable of running it.

Such requirements have led to controversy around the requirements of the system which are stricter than those that were found on Windows 10. People who have migrated to the Windows 11 with the help of a new desktop PC then they will find a reduced gaming performance as Microsoft implemented the Virtualization based security also known as VBS. The feature was first noticed by people at PC Gamer and found that the performance of the game had gone down by nearly 30 percent.

The VBS system has been enabled in the new systems by default. The feature was first introduced in Windows 10 as an optional feature and makes use of hardware virtualization for additional security fort the region of memory from the normal operating system. With the help of Windows 11, Microsoft wishes to promote the system of VBS for the individual as well as government/enterprise based machines.
