South Korean giant LG has announced its new 32 inch UHD display the 32QK500-W that offers an impressive mix of features for a monitor of a mid range for $349.99. The device cannot is called as a full 4 K device but can offer the viewers a decent pixel density that has a 2560 X 1440 IPS panel. It also has a support for AMD Free Sync a 75 Hz refresh rate with an 8 ms response time. The TV cannot be called as the fastest display but can be reasonable to hold up for less demanding gaming.
It has a restrained designed in terms of a desktop monitor with a tilting Edge-ArcLine Stand which looks better than the average black box screen and also has some good looks considering the price. No matter how good the device looks, it fails in terms of ports as it does not have the USB-C or the Thunderbolt 3 display options. The only thing is has is the display port, Mini display port and two HDMI ports.
At the same time the 32QK500-W also comes with a few more extra good features including a rear mode option that reduces the blue light but the jury is still out if there are any harmful effects from it. LG is also offering the buyers a software option for controlling the display settings like brightness contrast and split-screen mode which means that the users will not have to spend long hours with the befuddling button setup.
The company is yet to announce the actual release date of the 32QK500-W but it is expected that it might go on sale sometime in near future for $349.99. With the growing competition and market for TVs have saturated and the buyers are looking out for more options in terms of unique features at low prices. In such circumstances, LG seems to take the market a little lightly.
