4 Products Apple might discontinue in 2022

Apple is known for making some of the best and the most expensive products in the world. While it introduces some new products, it also discontinues many of them. In the past few weeks, there have been numerous reports about some of the products that are ready to be churned out by the company this year. With the introduction of the new products, it will also mean that the older ones will be discontinued. Here is a list of products that could come to an end in 2022.

1. MacBook skins – Apple offers some of the finest laptops with the MacBook Air and the MacBook Pro. But since the devices themselves are not very colorful, the company offered stickers and skins to add some color. But that will no longer be essential in 2022 as the company is expected to launch the new MacBook Air in new colors.

2. Apple Watch cases – The Watch cases have not been very popular among the users and there are reports that the company would be launching the new rugged option for the 2022 Apple Watch that has been specifically designed for the extreme athletes.

3. The small phones – Apple had high hopes with the iPhone 12 mini but the smartphone did not perform as expected. Compared to other models the mini series performed really poor and it is expected that Apple would axe the models when iPhone 14 arrives.

4. Smart displays – Apple is reportedly working on a HomePod with an iPad-sized screen that would act as a smart hub for home. Rumours continue to be speculative as it continues to be missing from the home line-up from Apple.

Over the years, the Cupertino based company has discontinued a number of devices and it only allows and encourages the users to upgrade or focus on the new products that arrive in the market. It also makes it easier for the company to provide updates to the existing device users.
